Qride Course Cancellation:
- A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for a course cancellation to result in a full refund.
- A student giving less than 7 days’ notice but greater than 48 clear hours’ notice of cancellation will receive a 50% refund of the course fee paid.
- A student giving less than 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or transfer shall not receive nor be entitled to receive any refund or transfer of funds to another date.
Qride Course Rescheduling:
- A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to reschedule a course free of charge.
- A student wishing to reschedule less than 7 days but greater than 48 hours of the course date will only receive a transfer value of 50% of the course fees already paid and is required to pay the remaining 50% balance at the time of transfer.
- A student giving less than 48 hours’ notice of the need to transfer shall not receive nor be entitled to receive any refund or transfer of funds to another date.
Mastercraft Course Cancellation:
- A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for a course cancellation to result in a full refund.
- If you cancel your course with less than 7 days’ notice there is no refund but you can find someone to take your place.
Braking and Road Cornering Course Cancellation:
- A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required for a course cancellation to result in a full refund.
- If you cancel your course with less than 7 days’ notice but greater than 48 hours you will incur a $150 cancellation fee unless you can find some one to replace your position.
- If you cancel your course with less than 48 hrs notice you will forfeit any payment made.
No Show:
- If you do not turn up on the day of the course, you will forfeit your full payment this includes if a gift voucher was used to book the course.
Failure to check Course Eligibility:
- You are required to check your eligibility for the specific course you book in for, if you fail to do so and turn up for the course not eligible then you will forfeit your full payment.
Late show:
- If you are late for your course you will incur a $50 fee (which is to be paid prior to commencing the course)
- If you are more than 30 minutes late it will be treated as a “No Show”.
Gift Certificates:
- Gift Certificates will not be refunded.
- Gift Certificates maybe redeemed for other types of training/courses to the same value or less.
Unfit to ride:
- Participant unfit to ride: A participant unfit to ride is defined as someone who does not have the correct PPE: long pants, enclosed shoes, gloves, helmet, and jacket (We can supply gloves, helmet, and jacket) or someone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- If we deem you unfit to ride you will not be entitled to a refund or to reschedule and 100% of the total amount of the booking will be forfeited. We reserve the right to make an informed decision on if a participant is unfit to ride.
Medical Certificate:
- A detailed Medical Certificate can be provided to us to potentially exempt from the Refund or Cancellation Policy.
Please note: The outcome of the medical certificate provided to us is at the discretion of the director.
Course Cancellation:
- Motorcycle Masters reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances and/or circumstances beyond our control. Should this occur, those who are booked in will be notified and offered to move their course to the next available date or a refund will be offered. Motorcycle Masters will not be held liable for any claims arising from course cancellation.
Weather Conditions:
- Your course will continue in most weather conditions unless your Trainer deems it unfit to ride on the day.
- Your course will continue unless you are advised.
Your Responsibilities:
- It is your responsibility to present to the training venue 30 minutes prior to the course start time. The address, a map and written instructions were sent to you via text message. If you are late for the course you will not be able to participate in the course.. Your booking will not be transferred or refunded. Sleeping in, being called out to work, forgetting, car breaking down, not having a correct licence type for the course, not being eligible, failing to do the Hazard Perception Test prior to the RE course or being “not eligible” for any of the courses, or not completing a course within the legislative time allowed as is the case with the Pre Learner Course (30 days) etc are not grounds for a refund or transfer of booking. Acute illness supported by a detailed medical certificate will be considered.
- If you wish to transfer to another date due to testing positive to Covid19 you must forward details of a positive test or medical certificate to be considered for transfer.
- You are not paying money to obtain a licence. You are booking into a training and licence assessment course. If you are unable to demonstrate competency when being assessed, you may need to have more practice or training prior to enrolling again to be retrained and reassessed again. Not being able to be assessed as competent on the day does not entitle you to a refund or a transfer to another date. If you do not provide eligibility for the a QRide course before the course commencement time you will not be able to participate in the course and you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
Damage Liability:
- Participants understand an excess payment of 'up to' $2500 will need to be paid if
- Any damage to the motorcycle caused by operator error has occurred
- Any damage to property caused by the operator whilst using the vehicle
- Any damage to safety gear equipment due to operator error.
Complaints:
If a client has a complaint or believe they have been unjustly served, harassed, or discriminated against in any form, a complaint must be lodged in writing within 1 week of the event. Complaints can be sent in writing to info@qrides.com.au. The director of Motorcycle Masters Riding School will review the situation with the client either by verbal, phone or in writing and the matter will be resolved within 3 weeks of the dated complaint. If the matter cannot be resolved internally, the director will discuss with the client without fear of prejudice or repercussion about a mutual third party to help resolve the matter.
