What You Should Know About Our Q-Ride Services
To better explain what you can expect from our team and how our services work, consider the following:
- It is important to know that before you can get a motorcycle learner's licence, you need to have a valid Queensland driver’s licence. You must also have held this driver’s licence at least 12 months before applying for your motorcycle learner’s licence.
- Before you can start, you must complete a two-day pre-learner course which helps you establish a firm grasp on the theoretical and practical aspects of driving a motorcycle. Upon completion of this course, you are required to complete an online knowledge test. You will then receive your learner’s licence upon successfully passing the test through TMR.
- Once you have your learner’s licence, you must wait a minimum of 91 days, and then you can apply for your RE licence. Your RE licence will allow you to ride learner-approved motorcycles. Once you have done that for two years, you can get your R licence, which will enable you to ride any motorbike.
