Training Courses
Not everyone has their own bike or someone to ride with, here at Motorcycle Masters we offer 1 on 1 or group training. No matter your level of motorcycle experience, our 1 on 1 training can improve your confidence, safety and motorcycle skills in a focused, personalised training environment. Alternatively, if you'd like to train with a friend, we can organise small group training sessions.
Some of our students love to take advantage of our 1 on 1 training in the 3 months they are required to have an accompanying rider on their Motorcycle Learners Licence. Other students use 1 on 1 training to improve on specific skills to improve their road confidence and safety.
Our 1 on 1 training can be done for 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours or a full day from 8AM - 2:30PM.
Please call us on 0403 480 407 so we can answer any questions and get you booked in.

Signs You Should Invest in Motorcycle Rider Training
The rules are in place for a reason — better training translates into safer riders, and hopefully, fewer unfortunate accidents and fatalities on our roadways. Although Q-ride courses are a requirement, some are sceptical about their value. When is it a good time to turn to professional training solutions?
- You understand the basics of motorcycle riding, but you aren't yet confident enough to safely travel independently.
- You've had your RE license for more than a year, and you're ready to move on to the next stage. Equip yourself with the right skills by investing in the best training possible.
- You want to learn specific skills to improve your abilities, such as better cornering and braking.
The Importance of a Motorbike Pre-Learner Course
If you're just getting started, regulations require you to undertake a rider learner course before you can mount up and start testing out the throttle on a LAMS bike. Why is this course so important? The answer is easy to see when you consider what you'll learn.
- There's more to riding a motorbike than there is to driving a car in some ways. This course provides you with theoretical knowledge about motorcycle riding, so you understand the principles in play and what they mean for you.
- Even if you've never ridden a bike before, the pre-learner course will equip you with the knowledge and practical time on bikes required to make you feel comfortable acquiring your learner's license.
- The habits you develop early on in your riding efforts will last long after departing our motorcycle riding school in the Gold Coast. Lay a strong foundation for safety now.
What Sets Motorcycle Masters Riding School Apart When You Want to Learn to Ride?
It's obvious enough that you'll need to go through some training to enjoy the thrill of riding on two wheels, but why should you work with our team? We got our start because we saw that our industry wasn't fully meeting the needs of riders. Today, we stand apart in many ways:
- We provide one-on-one instruction for riding a bike, so you can develop your confidence safely and according to your own pace.
- All our instructors have at least fifteen years of experience in providing motorbike training in the Gold Coast and many more years of actual riding experience beyond that.
- We provide free bike hire and all the safety gear you need to learn appropriately during the course if you do not own these items yet.
What to Expect from Our Motorbike Lessons
When you enrol in motorbike lessons in the Gold Coast, you may not know what to expect when you show up for your training session. With our school, however, you'll find that expectations are clear, and the process is straight forward.
- Thorough but clear explanations of everything you need to know. We're quick to answer questions, too.
- The effort is necessary to see you through to achieving competency. The vast majority of our students pass with flying colours because we pay close attention to developing skills, continuing to help you refine your abilities until you're well-versed.
- Friendly service and training. We don't think this is an atmosphere that invites conflict, and riders should never feel pressured or stressed while learning. We foster an inclusive learning environment.
Tips For When You Learn to Ride a Motorbike
Getting started can be tricky, but so too can moving from basic skills to the more advanced riding techniques necessary for your R license. What are some good things to remember as you learn that will make the process more rewarding?
- Respect the bike. It sounds simple but remember — there's a lot of power in there, and physics is the master of every motorcycle rider.
- Proper form matters. From the way you sit on the bike to how you lean through turns, using a motorbike is much more about how you position your body than you would experience when driving a car.
- Always be alert — and be responsible for your safety. Unfortunately, we can't count on other drivers on the road to acknowledge the presence of motorcycles. When riding your bike, be aware of your surroundings and drive your motorcycle proactively and defensively
